  • Crystal Palace still could lose Eze
        • Crystal Palace’s eye-catching move “talented” £26 million ace signed
  • AC Milan makes his first move with Mattetalace

As they try to hit Crystal Palace a major blow, AC Milan reportedly takes its first step to sign the Selhurst Park star this summer.

Crystal Palace still could lose Eze

They were able to at least sign Walter Benitez and Borna Sosa, but it’s safe to say that Crystal Palace has endured a frustrating summer so far. And things can still get worse for the people of South London. Rumors continue to flow regarding Eberechi Eze’s future, and reports suggest that both Chelsea and Arsenal are aiming to target talented attackers.

His exit is probably not the only bad news the Palace has received this summer. The Eagles were recently hit hard when UEFA confirmed their relegation from the Europa League to the Europa League after John Text, who was involved with Lyon and the Palace, broke the ownership rules for the Multiclub.

Steve Parish has since made his remarks on the issue, confirming that the palace will appeal for the UEFA decision. “We’re still fighting. We’re going to CAS, the court of arbitration, because we have an appeal process. We’re very hoping. I think we have a big legal argument.

“I don’t think this is the right decision at all. I know clearly that John had no decisive impact on the club. I know that because that’s the case, he has proven it beyond all reasonable doubt.”

The Eagles are already preparing for the worst.

It remains to be seen whether UEFA’s decision will be involved in players’ immediate future, but AC Milan appears willing to test that theory this summer.

AC Milan makes his first move with Mattetalace

There are many concerns about Eze’s future, but another important player at Oliver Grasner may still be heading towards the exit door. According to L’Equipe, AC Milan is now making its first move to sign Jean-Philippe Mateta, open to completing the summer switch to the Italian giant.

But as things stand, the French review remains the great obstacle and potential blessing of salvation at Crystal Palace. The Italians reportedly have been postponed to the Crystal Palace asking price.

Alas, the Eagles’ demands are no surprise to Milan or other stakeholders. The £50,000 a week forward enjoyed another excellent campaign last time – scoring 17 goals in all competitions and earning high praise from Glasner.

The Crystal Palace manager told reporters: “We don’t always talk because he knows what we ask of him. With his two goals today, he’s amazing in the box.

“He feels that No. 9 must be in the box. He does so many runs where he doesn’t get the ball. You do so many runs without you get the ball, so you have to suffer as a striker.
