Galatasaray reportedly placed a bid of around 3 million euros for the potential relocation of Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson.

The Brazilian shotstopper is facing an uncertain future at Etihad Stadium this summer, despite being a key player on Pep Guardiola’s side.

Man City can now try to change goals, and Fabrizio Romano reports they are pursuing a move to sign Burnley Keeper James Trafford.

See below Romano’s post from X says that Trafford is a city target but says that Edason can leave, but L’Equipe has linked the 31-year-old with Galatasaray’s 3 million euro target.

Romano said: “As for the exclusive story of James Trafford and Manchester City, the contacts of Man City and Burnley have already begun because the contacts between the city and Burnley want to negotiate a fee lower than the £40 million worth of buyback clause.

Ederson also has other transfer jobs this summer

We were also informed that Galatasaray was taking part in the mix to sign the former Benfica Player.

It will be interesting to see where Ederson is going, but the club imagines he has to pay him more than 3 million euros.

Still, there is no doubt that his value has declined after his recent slightly lower performance. The player is no longer at the peak of his strength.

Ederson leaves City as a club legend

However, if Ederson leaves, he certainly can get a warm send-off, as he probably established himself as an urban legend with great success in his time in Manchester.

Ederson played 372 games for City and won six Premier League titles, four League Cups, two FA Cups and the Champions League during his time in England.
