It doesn’t seem to be entirely decided yet, but it certainly makes sense that the city will have an advantage over Newcastle in the race to sign the 22-year-old.
Will Manchester City sign James Trafford to replace Ederson?
Catch off side Ederson understands that, among the interests of many clubs, he has the opportunity to leave the city this summer.
The Brazilian shot stopper is interested from the Saudi Arabian professional league clubs and from Serie A Giants Napoli.
Meanwhile, L’Equipe reports that Galatasaray is planning to bid him.
If Adason goes, Trafford could be a great long-term alternative for him as the city’s number one.
Newcastle also undoubtedly managed to upgrade the goal, but Trafford could be considered a better option than Nick Pope on Eddie Howe’s side.
