Boubacar Traore is linked to the move to leave the wolves during the summer transfer period.

According to a report from the French publication L’Equipe, the player wants to play regularly, and it is ideal for him to stay away from the wolves. The West Midlands Club does not consider him to be an important part of his plans for the future and has removed him from Portugal’s training camp.

Boubacar Traore-focused Mets

A report from France claims that the Mets are interested in signing players. It will be interesting to see if they can get trades across the line.

Since joining Wolves in 2022, he has started just 11 league games. He has permanent injuries issues and competition with other players pushed him down the hierarchy. He needs to get his career back on track with normal game time, and travelling to a French club might be ideal.

He has played for the Mets in the past and returning to his comfort zone might be ideal for him. Regular football at French clubs allowed him to bring out the best of him. Traore needs to regain his shape and confidence. Staying as a wolf is harmful to him.

It will be interesting to see how things develop over the next few weeks.

With only 41 appearances in three years, it is clear that he will not be able to establish himself as a key player for the club. It would be ideal for both parties to go separate ways this summer.

The wolves aim to bring in high quality players who can help them improve, and Traore aims to advance and organize his future. The 23-year-old defensive midfielder is still quite young, and he has plenty of time to get his career back on track and meet his potential.
