Real-Time Action: USYK vs. Dubois – Live Updates, Results & In-Depth Analysis

Oleksandr Usyk aims to unify all four major heavyweight titles and reclaim his status as the undisputed champion when he takes on Daniel Dubois at Wembley Stadium in London this Saturday (Dazn PPV, 2pm ET, 7pm BST). Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs) believes that a contentious referee call in their August 2023 bout, where he knocked out Dubois in the 9th round with a legal body shot despite the initial claim of a low blow, affected the fight’s timing. That punch has been debated ever since.

Dubois acknowledged the controversy at an April press event, stating, “Yeah, I was fooled, but that’s behind us. This is my chance to set the record straight.”

Usyk secured the undisputed heavyweight champion title by beating Tyson Fury in May 2024. Following that, he vacated the IBF belt to face Fury again, rather than the then-challenger Filip Hrgovic, leaving the IBF title open for Dubois, who claimed it after stopping Hrgovic in the eighth round in June 2024.

Since his loss to Usyk, Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs) has gained momentum by defeating Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller, Hrgovic, and Anthony Joshua.

Dubois’ promoter Frank Warren, speaking at a London press conference on Thursday, remarked, “They’ve faced each other and know their strengths and weaknesses. I’m confident Dubois can hurt Usyk — he’s done it before. I believe this will be his moment.”

Reporters Nick Parkinson and James Regan are in London providing live updates from Wembley Stadium, covering everything from fight progress to undercard outcomes and round-by-round analysis.

Fan Take: This highly anticipated bout is a pivotal moment for heavyweight boxing, as unification fights always bring clarity and excitement to the sport. Fans are eager to see if Dubois can overcome Usyk’s technical mastery and if Usyk can solidify his legacy as the undisputed king of the heavyweight division.
