Liverpool is interested in signing Real Madrid attacker Rodrigo goes during the summer transfer period.

The 24-year-old has linked his move from La Liga and Liverpool is trying to secure his signature if Luis Diaz leaves the club.

According to a report in the French publication L’Equipe, he “arguably” is a preferred target for replacing Colombian international. Rodrigo is also linked to Arsenal.

RodrygoGoes makes a great addition

Rodrigo is highly regarded throughout Europe and he is considered a world-class talent. If they could get the deal done, he could have evolved into a future star for Liverpool. He is expected to decline further in recent months, not a regular starter for Real Madrid, but under new manager Xabi Alonso.

It would be ideal for him to leave the Spanish club in search of normal football, and Liverpool could provide him with that platform.

Diaz is linked to travelling from Anfield, with clubs like Bayern Munich and Barcelona in South America. He is a key player for Liverpool and scored 17 goals for them last season. He wants a fresh challenge and Liverpool needs to replace him properly.

Ideally, you’ll sign dynamic attackers like Rodrygo. He can operate anywhere on the front 3, and he adds goals and creativity to the sides. He was young enough to improve even further, and he was able to grow into a world-class player.

Premier League regular football can bring out the best in the Brazilian and help him realize his potential. With the World Cup next year he will want to play more often, and Liverpool was able to offer him the opportunity.

He has the quality and experience to play for top clubs. He has won the Real Madrid and the Champions League twice, and his winning experience could prove to be invaluable.
