Jack Harrison faces an uncertain future at Leeds United, and it remains to be seen whether he will be able to solidify his key role under manager Daniel Fark ahead of the new season.

The Winger recently started out with a pre-season friendly first, with Fark publicly saying Harrison will be allowed to prove himself. Harrison spent last season on loan at Everton, where he offered many solid performances and showed that he still could compete at a high level.

Fark said (H/T Leeds Press): “Overall, it depends on how Jack uses his chances. First off, he’s on a contract now, knows the league and has played in many Premier Leagues.

“I have to say he had a great first part of his time at Leeds United.

Yes, he made this offer after we suffered relegation to stay at the top level. It was also due to his performance he delivered. Otherwise I wouldn’t have been interested.

“It was a decision before my time that he had left, but he still came back with us and was also a conversation with him.

Newly promoted to the Premier League, Leeds currently lacks depth in their offensive division. Harrison could be a valuable asset given his top flight experience and the versatility of his wings.

The 28-year-old is passionate about his regular playing time and is unlikely to accept his surrounding roles at the club. If he is not guaranteed minutes, Harrison may consider moving elsewhere. Based on his Everton performance, there should not be a shortage of clubs interested in his services.

Leeds needs to assess whether Harrison can provide the consistency he wants. His technical capabilities, combined with his Premier League know-how, make him a strong candidate to help the club stay in the top tier.

Relegation to the championship is a big blow to Leeds, and players like Harrison could be important in ensuring survival. His experience and creativity can provide the difference in a tight match.

Ultimately, the parties need to be coordinated. Harrison wants to play regularly, and Leeds needs quality players with experience in the Premier League. If the club can offer him a meaningful role, Harrison can play a pivotal role in the campaign.

Otherwise, the relocation could be in the greatest benefit of all involved.
