With all four majors in the book, the 2025 PGA Tour stretch run arrived just two weeks before the FedEx Cup playoffs. The stretch will begin at 2025 3m opening from TPC Twin City in the Minneapolis area. After a transatlantic trip since the UK’s opening, many of the top golfers have opened up the 3M Open 2025 field for a break this week. One of the top 20 ranked golfers is tee-off on Thursday, which could lead to unpredictable results on PGA tour bets. No. 18 in the world, Maverick McNerry is only third on the +2000 2025 3M Open Odds board.

He follows five-time tour winner Sam Burns and +1800 co-lovers Chris Gottap. Gotterup was outside of the top 150 ranked players a few weeks ago, but after finishing third at the Scotland Open, he is now ranked 27th. Wyndham Clark (+2500), Max Greyserman (+2800), Jake Knapp (+2800) and Si Woo Kim (+3100) are other 3M open candidates for the PGA odds board this week. Before locking the 2025 3M open pick, be sure to check out the golf predictions and predicted leaderboards from the Sportsline’s proven computer models.

The Sportsline’s proprietary model, built by DFS Pro Mike McClure, has been red hot since the PGA Tour resumed in June 2020. In fact, the model has surpassed $8,500 on its best bet since its post-tournament reboot.

This same model nailed a whopping 16 majors over the weekend, including the 2025 Master (the fourth Master) and this year’s PGA Championship and Open Championship. Anyone who followed the sports bet pick has seen massive returns Bet Site. With the 2025 3M open field locked, Sportsline simulated the tournament 10,000 times, and the results were amazing. Head to SportsLine now to see the projected leaderboard.

2025 3M Open Prediction

One of the big surprises the model is looking for at the 2025 3m open: Wyndham Clark (25-1), 2023 US Open Champion, failing to break the top 10 of the leaderboard, one of the Top Favorites. Accuracy must be successful here, as it is a sustained water hazard that accounts for 15 of the 18 holes in the TPC Twin City. Clark is struggling there as he ranks 138th on the PGA Tour and drives accuracy rates. His approach game is also inconsistent and is 102nd in the green in terms of regulation, making him inaccurate.

Also, the history of Clark’s substantial courses cannot be ignored. This left me missing a cut in two of my last three starts at the 3M open. He went particularly well with the others, finishing in 38th and shot with par in four of the last eight rounds of this event as the final three winners shot 17 under par or low. Clark has achieved some success in the UK in the past few weeks, but not on the sea side as he finished more than 50 in seven of his last eight starts in North America. Look at the others fade here.

Another surprise: Emiliano Grillo, a long shot at 50-1, has a strong run with titles that have far better chances than his odds imply, so he is the target of anyone looking for a huge payday. The Argentinian did everything except that he won the tournament in 2022 with a runner-up and third-place finish in his debut in 2020. He also had another top 10 at the 3M open, finishing in the top 25 of four of his five starts at TPC Twin City. Grillo has shot more than Parker in each of the last 14 rounds on the Minnesota Coast.

He also found his groove on the tour this season after a miserable start that notched a top 25 pair in his first dash tournament. But since then he has five top 25 in his last eight events. This includes running up first in the John Deere Classic earlier this month. The Illinois courses that host that tournament have roughly the same slope and course ratings as the TPC Twin City. Both of these Midwest venues are similar in length, only 142 yards apart. It’s a promising sign for Grillo, and combined with his previous open success of 3M, we can see why the model likes him in the PGA predictions. See who else you choose here.

2025 How to make a 3m open pick

The model’s complete best bet includes four golfers who get off at +4000 or more. Anyone who supports these long shots can hit it big. Here you can only see the model picks.
