Crystal Palace is reportedly leading the race to sign Medill’s Bra’s highly rated young midfielder Hayden Hackney.

The 23-year-old has been eye-catching at his recent championship and has put in some great displays from the rag since he rose through the academy.

The palace endured a slightly difficult summer, as long as there was so much speculation about some of their star names set out for the bigger club.

Ebeki Eze is strongly associated with Arsenal, but Mark Guech has suitors in both Liverpool and Newcastle United.

Palace fans have already created plans to buy tickets for Community Shield as they prepare to play Liverpool at Wembley, but some new signatures will certainly be welcomed.

Hackney looks like someone to watch in a TBR Football report stating that the Eagles are confident in landing young people.

The report suggests that the rag’s appearance is ready to lose Hackney, and a move to the palace is increasingly likely, even if it’s not all done yet.

Palace fans hope that this deal can prove to be something like a repetition of the attack on the Blackburn Rover to sign Adam Wharton.

Can Hackney recreate Wharton’s success in the palace?

Hackney is another talented young English player who has no experience in the Premier League but appears to be ready to step up.

Wharton’s transition was surprisingly easy, and the decision to sign him from Blackburn now looks like a great business.

Hackney could be an ideal partner for Wharton in the middle, and Wharton’s great form may even replace him at some point as he is another member of the Selhurst Park team to attract links with big clubs like Liverpool and Manchester City.
