Chelsea attacker Cole Palmer is reportedly a target for Manchester City.

According to a report by Fichajes, Manchester City attempted to sign the player with an offer of 170 million euros. Chelsea now declined the approach and is demanding 250 million euros to sell England International.

Cole Palmer is a world class talent

There’s no doubt that Palmer is one of the best young players in the world. He is destined to develop into a future superstar. It’s no surprise that Chelsea doesn’t want to sell him, they’re looking for an absurd amount. If any club decides to pay the asking price to Palmer, it is a world record transfer and overrides the amount PSG paid to Neymar.

Palmer has been an exception for Chelsea since joining the club and is undoubtedly the best player at the club. Chelsea can’t afford to lose him. They want to fight for major trophies and need to keep the best players.

Meanwhile, it’s not surprising that Manchester City wants to sign players. The former Manchester City Academy alumnus will develop into Chelsea stars, and they will certainly regret the decision to move him forward. If they can bring him back to the club, it would be a world-class move for them.

The 23-year-old not only helps them improve creatively, but also consistently scores goals. After Kevin de Bruin’s departure, Manchester City needs his best presence in the final third.

While there is no doubt that Manchester City is one of the richest clubs in the world, it seems unlikely that he will pay Palmer a world record fee any time soon. It will be interesting to see how things develop over the next few weeks.
