  • Man United could use Gaie
  • Idrissa Gueye was able to experience a big move

Manchester United are interested in signing METZ attacker Idrissa Gueye this summer.

The 18-year-old is highly regarded in Europe, and clubs like Brentford, Southampton and Burnley are also interested in him. Reports from the Sun show that Brentford wanted to secure his signature, but Manchester United is not in the race.

Man United could use Gaie

The attacker is valued at £15 million, and it will be interesting to see if Manchester United can complete the transaction. They need more quality and depth in attacking units, and 18 years old becomes a long-term investment. Manchester United have recently signed with Brentford’s Brian Mbeumo, who appears to be planning to leave their Premier League rivals heartbroken by another steal.

Gueye is an incredible talent with a bright future and he should try to join a club where he gets regular opportunities. Sitting on the bench of a big club is unlikely to benefit him. Players must seek a game time guarantee from Manchester United before joining.

Meanwhile, Brentford may be in a better place to give him more game time. It would be interesting to see what players decide. The reported £15 million ask price is affordable for most teams in the Premier League.

Idrissa Gueye was able to experience a big move

If the striker can adapt to British football, it could prove to be a bargain at that price. He is only 18 years old and improves with coaching and experience. He was able to develop into a top-class Premier League attacker.

The opportunity to move to the UK is also very exciting, and young attackers are seduced. It remains to be seen where he will ultimately end up.
