There are only five rounds left in the 2025 regular season of the PGA Tour.

The final round of Sunday’s 3M open will offer some drama as 15 players enter the day within four shots of the lead, with all chasing co-leaders Akshay Bhatia and Thorbjorn Olesen, starting the final round at 18 under.

Many players earn points in their minds on Sunday. This is his second chance to crack the top 70 of FedEx Cup standings and qualify for the playoffs, starting just 10 days after next week’s Wyndham Championship. Needless to say, it’s crunch time for the PGA tour.

What is the weather forecast for the 3M opening on Sunday?

Players are dealing with hot and humid conditions all week in the TPC Twin City, but on Sundays they make the cake hottest and humidest. Who will win the 3M Open?

Defending champion of the 3M Open, Jonattan Vegas is aiming to return to TPC Twin City to protect the crown. He’s not the only past champion on the field, as Lee Hodges (2023), Tony Fina (2022) and Cameron Champion (2021) also performs. Michael Thompson (2020) and Matthew Woff (2019) are tournament winners who are not on the field.

When did the first 3M open?

The PGA Tour held its first 3M opening in 2019, about a year after announcing the start of the event. Previously, TPC Twin City held the PGA Tour Championship 3M Championship from 1993 to 2018.
