Everton appears to be finally moving in the transfer market ahead of the Premier League season.

Tierno Barry is passing through the door, but the move to sign Marik Foffana is approaching what’s going on.

Of course, David Moyes is not finished yet. Because there are still some areas that need to be strengthened.

A new right back is urgently needed, and another center back would be weird too. Moyes may be able to call Vitaliy Mykolenko on the left side of the defense, but recent news suggests he is trapped in another left back.

Despite the need to improve the backline, which was recognized for 44 innings last season, there is a clear lack of forwarding links.

James Tarkowski appears to be looking to renew his partnership with Jarrad Branthwaite. But who can participate?

Now, according to athletic Paddy Boyland, Everton is locked up in a contract to sign Bayern Munich youth Adam Aznu.

The move would initially cost Toffee around £8 million, which could be a sensible move for the club, considering its growth potential.

Boyland reports that he was “set up” for medical care earlier this week and will fly to the US to join the team on a preseason tour.

His arrival will add dynamism to his left flank, and for the next few years the Moroccan defender could be the perfect signing of Iliman Ndiai.

Why Adam Aznow is the best for Ndiaye

Last season, Ndiaye finished as Everton’s top scorer with 11 goals, a solid debut introduction to Senegal International’s English football.

If he can kick on from now on, Moe will have a devastating left winger at his freedom.

The winger also successfully dribbling last season with 2.1 dribbling, creating three major opportunities, recording a target conversion rate of 24%.

By adding Aznou to the team, the younger left-back has the ability to link well with Ndiaye, and this partnership could cause confusion for the defense of the opposition.

In 2024, talent scout Jacek Kulig calls Aznou a “generational talent,” and if he’s impressed with Everton, he’ll live up to this hype.

Aznow has already made four appearances for Bayern Munich and once in the recent Club World Cup, but between his loan spells with the real Balladrid whom he shined.

He began 10 La Liga games for the club and looked impressive in the final third. Certainly, he succeeded with 1.5 dribbling per game (56% success rate), averaged 0.5 key passes and registered 0.3 shots per game.

Young people are also showing defensively. Compared to his top five league teammates in Europe, Aznow ranked in tackles per 90 (2.82), top 1% per 90 (2.51) and top 9% of tackles (2.51) with top 30% per 90 (1.11) during the spine stint.

Given his lack of senior appearances, these statistics point to the tendency for Moys to continue with Everton.

His ability to pass the defender will help Ndiaye use the youth as the perfect foil to attack success this season.
