  • Man United moves to sign Benjamin Sesco
  • The Red Devils face competition with Newcastle United

According to Florian Pletztenberg, Manchester United remained on the hunt for highly rated striker Benjamin Sesco, and the club is bolstering efforts to secure his signature.

Currently at RB Leipzig, Sesco has become one of the most popular young strikers in European football.

Some of the world’s biggest clubs are aware of his talent, and among the clubs that show the most interest to sign him are two Premier League clubs, Man United and Newcastle United.

Both clubs are looking to revamp their offense this summer, with Sesco being high on radar.

According to the latest developments, United presented detailed proposals to sign the Bundesliga attackers, and he was impressed by Man United’s pitch and their transfer proposal.

What caught his attention is that the Red Devils sign him and show genuine interest in going the extra distance to seal his signature.

Sesco was able to be “impressed” by the Red Devils’ pitch, particularly the central role they play in their long-term vision and offensive plans.

But Man United’s pursuit is not easy. Newcastle United are in line with their ambitions and are actively preparing for formal offers. Magpies are said to be serious about moving Marquee forward for Alexander Isaac’s uncertain future at the club.

Swedish international attackers have been keen to move to Premier League champion Liverpool this summer, and his departure could prove extremely harmful to the magpies already preparing for life without Isaac.

Despite the steep price tag that German clubs are being requested, both English clubs continue to negotiate in the hopes of sealing off deals this summer.

For United, the urgency to strengthen their frontlines is evident after an overwhelming season. Newcastle, meanwhile, sees Sesco as the ideal long-term alternative to Isaac if the Swedes depart in interest from Liverpool.
