As Liverpool is about to sign him from Newcastle, the situation for Alexander Isaac is becoming a big story in the summer transfer window. And the likelihood of transactions being made could increase in the last 24 hours.

With the finalising contract to sell Louis Diaz to Bayern Munich, Liverpool is expected to make their move to sign Isaac. Newcastle is backed by the opening offer and feels that an agreement could be reached in the near future given that they are already shopping for replacements.

And Isaac, who is said to be eager to join Liverpool, appears to be playing his role in ensuring Newcastle gives a green light to deal with the current Champion League champions.

According to TBR Football, Isak has become an AWOL in Newcastle and has decided not to attend the club’s training ground for the session. Instead, he has worked from home. Eddie Howe was aware of the situation.

Isaac has been excluded from the ongoing preseason tour of Newcastle in Singapore and South Korea, revealing that he wants to explore his options. Liverpool is pleased with the efforts made by the 25-year-old striker, who scored 23 goals and six assists in the Premier League last season, and is ready to create a record-breaking offer from St. James Park to praise him.

Liverpool is said to be solid at a asking price of £150 million, but believes that a package worth £120 million will be enough to land ISAK. The wishes of players were able to see the winners of the Carabao Cup last season become generous, but they hold a fair share given that Swedish International has three years left on their current contract.
