According to journalist Miguel Delaney, Manchester United have now begun talks to trade Alejandro Garnacho for “one of Europe’s best strikers.”
Garnacho is almost certain to leave Man Utd
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano recently revealed that Garnacho will almost certainly seal off his move away from Old Trafford this summer, and it is possible that he will be able to move to Man United’s Premier League rival.
Romano said: “Please don’t forget about the situation with Alejandro Garnacho, who remains a player who is grateful to Chelsea. He remains the case he will watch in the transfer window this summer as Garnacho certainly leaves Man UTD. Chelsea are following the situation closely.”
It’s not surprising that Ruben Amorim appears uneasy about sanctioning a departure given the Argentinians have not been affectionate about their fans these days.
Villa has also been appointed as a potential suitor for the forward, who is fascinated by the prospect of working for Unai Emery, but now there is a suggestion that Amorim’s side could oust him from the book in a different way.
In an independence report, Delaney revealed that Man United had spoken to Villa about exchanging Garnacho for Ollie Watkins.
Given the striker is a proven Premier League goalsman, Watkins is currently garnering strong interest from the Red Devils, and believes he can trade for around £40 million to £45 million.

The Red Devils are fighting to sign a centre forward and are currently in direct negotiations with his aides.
RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesco is also on the list, but the deal for Slovenians is more expensive, with a fee of £78 million being advertised.
Watkins in “The Best Striker in Europe”
Emery is likely to have little desire to lose England International this summer, and has praised him in the past as “one of Europe’s best strikers.”
The 29-year-old has scored at least 15 Premier League goals in his last three seasons and has not been able to rely on Rasmus Hozilund and Joshua Zilurgey, having a reliable scorer would really be a boost for Amorim.
The only concern about Watkins’ signature is that given the British is Sesco’s senior seven years old, he is likely his age, so United have made the big decision to make a big decision before the season begins.
Whether Garnacho is included in the swap deal or not, it is important for United to get 21 years old from the 21 year old book this summer.
