Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane reportedly plans to make a return to the Premier League in the future, and it will be interesting to see if Tottenham has decided to bring him back to the club.

According to a report from The Telegraph, strikers could seek a return to English football after the World Cup, which would certainly bring Tottenham to watch. The striker’s contract has a clause that allows him to leave the German champion for a fee of around £54 million.

Tottenham certainly could use more quality and depth with attacking units, and the 32-year-old would be an exceptional acquisition. He found the back of the net in 85 times in 96 matches for the German club. He is a world-class player who has proven himself on multiple levels. He knows Tottenham well and can quickly settle down and make an impact.

It is still unknown how the situation will develop.

The opportunity to return to his childhood club could be very exciting for players as well. He proved himself at the highest level and won major trophies at German clubs. He may feel this is the right time for him to return to his comfort zone again.

Meanwhile, the English international striker has only 47 goals on Alan Shearer’s Premier League goalscoring record. He would certainly fantasize about a chance to break that tally if he returns to England. It will be interesting to see if Tottenham has decided to test their luck and make a move for him in the future. Bringing him back to the club would be a master stroke for the North London Club.
