T-time, Pairing at Junior PGA Championsipps

Charlie Woods’ tee time and pairing are set for the third round of the 49th Junior PGA Championship on July 31st.

Woods, a Rising Junior at Benjamin School and son of legendary golfer Tiger Woods, will tee off at 1:53pm on Thursday at 1:53pm, first place on the Ackerman Allen course at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana.

He is paired with Indiana’s Sam Kalaher and California’s Ronin Banerjee in the third round.

All three golfers were 7 under in the tournament and finished in seventh place. Kansas’ Landenester line, which scored 62 in the second round on Wednesday, is five shots from the field at 14 under overall.

The tournament won a top 60 plus bond after the second round on Wednesday. It will be cut to a top 30 plus tie after Thursday’s third round.

The Junior PGA Championship was first hosted in 1976 and has a long history in Palm Beach County.

Between 1980 and 2000, the event hosted PGA National Golf Club at all but two years ago Palm Beach Gardens. In 1990, Tiger Woods was runner-up at Fort Lauderdale Chris Sofa at PGA National.

Previous tournament winners include major champions Trevor Immelman and David Toms.
