        • Better Signature than Simons: Chelsea was ready to bid on “Electric” £40m star
  • Chelsea makes the first approach and signs Weah

With a deal already approaching Ajax’s Jorrel Hato’s signature, Chelsea reportedly made their first contact to sign a fresh attack reinforcement.

Chelsea closes to pigeons

As always, Chelsea welcomed some fresh faces this summer. As Enzo Maresca prepares for his second season, he is now free to use things like Joan Pedro, Liam Dellup and Jamie Gittens, and whatever remains of a team that is deeply fulfilled in quality.

But Bruce hasn’t finished his summer business at all. After showing the door to Noni Madueke, who joined London rivals Arsenal and Saudi-bound Joao Felix, the people at Stamford Bridge are still spending their money and ending up heading for the pigeons.

The 19-year-old left-back appears to be destined to become the latest young talent to arrive in West London as Chelsea continues to build one of the youngest teams in the Premier League.

However, pigeons’ soft age is unlikely to get in the way of first team opportunities. The Dutch already had a lot of experience in that regard, adorning the Ajax Europa League last season.

One of many who praised Hato, Statman Dave, recently spoke to a big forwarding talk on BBC Radio 5 Live. “Looking at his statistics during the season, we are beginning to see a very structured, creative player, and he has potentially been able to go down a similar path to Trent Alexander Arnold.

Better Signature than Simons: Chelsea was ready to bid on “Electric” £40m star

With Xavi Simons set to sign Chelsea, is the Blues trying to bring in even better attackers from PL rivals called “Electric”?

Alas, their backline isn’t the only thing Chelsea wants to improve yet. Bruce also reportedly made his first move to sign Serie a Star.

Chelsea makes the first approach and signs Weah

According to Spazioj, Chelsea is taking the first approach to signing Timothy Weir from Juventus.

It’s not the first time that Winger has turned down a chance to join a Premier League club. Earlier this summer, reports were revealed that he handed Nottingham Forest the same answer he just gave to Chelsea and Tottenham. As a result, there is a major problem where his future exists.

Juventus is willing to sell Weah for around 20 million euros (£17 million) more than next season, but it remains to be seen whether something like Chelsea will call on a second attempt to persuade the 25-year-old.

After scoring six goals and providing five assists in all competitions last season, former Juventus boss Tiago Motta had the opportunity to praise the reporter. “I’m looking at him very well. The first thing that comes with a fullback is defending, being offensive, winning duels. He wins a lot. He’s offensive and he can still improve.
