Terry Harper Teams Up with Jake Paul’s Top-Tier Promotion for a Game-Changing Alliance

Three-division world champion Terry Harper has officially signed with Jake Paul’s prominent promotional company, MVP. Harper, with a professional record of 16 wins, 2 losses, and 2 draws including 6 knockouts, has secured titles in the junior middleweight and junior lightweight divisions. MVP CEO Nakisa Bidarian unveiled the signing during a Sky Sports announcement on Wednesday.

Baidarian expressed enthusiasm about bringing Harper on board, highlighting her distinction as the UK’s first female boxer to win world championships in three different weight classes. He emphasized her extensive experience, having competed across five divisions and fought in 20 professional bouts. Drawing parallels to seven-division champion Amanda Serrano, Baidarian noted Harper’s significant potential and the promising future ahead.

At the age of 28, Harper won her first world title—the WBC Junior Lightweight Belt—in 2020 by defeating Eva Wahlström. Despite setbacks in high-profile matches against Alicia Baumgardner and Sandy Ryan, both resulting in knockout losses, she rebounded by capturing the WBO Lightweight title in September 2024, overcoming Rhiannon Dixon. Previously signed with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing, Harper now joins MVP’s expanding roster of elite UK female fighters, which includes stars like Chantelle Cameron, Savannah Marshall, and Ellie Scotney.

Fan Take: This signing is a major boost for women’s boxing, as Terry Harper’s versatility and experience add star power to MVP’s lineup. For fight fans, it signals more high-caliber bouts and the continued growth of female boxing on a global stage.
