TORONTO – US Alex Michaelsen disrupts Italian third seed Lorenzo Musetti 3-6, 7-6 (4), 6-4, and 6-4 in the third round of the National Bank Open.
Michaelsen is seeded in 26th place.
Denmark’s fifth seed Holgar Roon made his advance in the evening match, beating France’s Alexandre Muller 6-2, 6-4.
The 11 types of Karen Khachanov from Russia and Francisco Serundo from Argentina also advanced. Kachanov beat US Emilio Nava 6-7 (6), 6-4, 6-1, and Cerundolo topped countryman Thomas Martin Etcharlie 6-3, 6-4
