Technical Update: 2025 Hungarian League Lampri

With Formula 1 approaching summer vacation, only three teams have submitted new components for use during Hungarian Galaxy Rampuri this weekend.

With Budapest marking its second race of doubleheaders prior to its August closure, the majority of teams have upgraded targeting events in Belgium last weekend, making them available for both rounds. Spa-Francorchamps’ sprint format means there will be a lot of learning during practice this weekend, especially for those who don’t have new components in Hungary.

Red Bull has introduced a new front wing update exclusively for hanger rings. This results in longer cord front wing flaps and increased local load. Additionally, if necessary, the scoop intake is increased in the front corner for cooling purposes.

The Aston Martin also has a new front wing flap, which the team described as a more aggressive addition to the new wing introduced last weekend, saying “it increases the total load the wings can produce with the high downforce rear wing used in this event.”

The only other team with new parts is the Race Bulls (Photo above)there are two updated components. A change to the shape of the front brake drum components has been made, improving airflow conditioning towards the rear of the car, but there are also larger cooling louver panels that can increase engine cooling if temperature is required.

The remaining seven teams do not list new teams for this weekend’s race as new.
