  • Josh Brownhill is going to be a great addition
  • Can the fox convince Brown Hill?

Leicester City is tied to the movement of former Burnley captain Josh Brown Hill.

The 29-year-old is currently a free agent and is linked to clubs like West Ham United. It will be interesting to see if Leicester City can complete the transaction.

According to Fourfourtwo, they reportedly approached the players with a contract proposal. It is still unknown if the players are ready to participate. Leicester will be desperate to secure promotion to the Premier League and will do well in the championship next season. Brown Hill could prove to be a quality edition for them.

He scored 18 goals in the championship last season and was able to provide six assists. Signing a player of his quality on a free transfer could prove to be a master stroke.

Josh Brownhill is going to be a great addition

Sky Sports Pandit Lee Hendry urged Leicester City to sign the former Burnley star. He believes Brown Hill will not only be a quality player for the fox, but also become one of the leaders in the dressing room.

“I think Josh Brownhill is a great signature for Leicester,” Hendry said in FLW. “I think you just look at the numbers he posted in the championship and you have to talk about the volume.

“When a top club is doing a kind of sniffing, I think you know the caliber of the players you bring in.

“Josh is also a strong leader, and you think it’s a massive signature for them.

“Overall, I think they’re losing some big players at this moment.

“It’s important to replace that because players like Jamie Birdie and Connor Cody leave the club. I think this is a really big coup for Leicester City.”

He knows what it takes to compete at a consistently high level and was able to help Leicester City secure the promotion next season. It is still unclear whether all parties will be able to reach an agreement.

The opportunity to join a club like West Ham is also extremely exciting for midfielders. He may prefer to move to the top flight at this stage of his career. It will be interesting to see if the London Club will offer him an offer.
