Leeds United are tied to the moves of Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz this summer.
He is not the only option on their wish list. Leeds is also monitoring Everton striker Bet, according to Graeme Bailey of Leeds United News. It would be interesting to see who they become.
Leeds is enthusiastic about Bet
Bailey said:
“I think Everton is also looking at other strikers, so if they bring in another striker, Beto might still be an option.
“I won’t rule him out at all. He’s still working on radar and ongoing work with the radar, if not Leeds’ first choice yet.”
Leeds needs to have a deep attack
It’s no secret that they will need quality strikers this summer. They have secured promotions to the Premier League and need to improve their teams to do well on top flights. They are trying to do well in the Premier League next season and will establish themselves as patrons on top flights. They will fight for survival and will not want to return to the championship.
You will need to add goals and creativity to the final third, and players like Muniz could prove to be a useful acquisition. Muniz is outstanding for Fulham and there is no doubt that he will improve them in the future. However, Fulham is currently trapped in discussions with players, and it remains to be seen whether they can convince him to sign a new deal.
BETO, on the other hand, is a key player for Everton and it appears unlikely they will sanction his departure. They have already lost Dominique Calvert Lewin on a free transfer. It will be interesting to see if Leeds can offer a suitable offer for the 27-year-old striker in the coming weeks.
