West Ham United are interested in signing Aston Villa midfielder Jaco Blamsey during the summer transfer period.
The talented young midfielder has a bright future ahead of him, but he needs to join a club he plays regularly. He is a team player at Aston Villa and needs to leave them to him for normal playing time.
Tottenham is also linked to Ramsey.
Ramsey has a price
According to journalist Tom Collomose’s Daily Mail, West Ham wants to sign the player and will have to pay the midfielder about £30 million.
Ramsey is an incredible talent with a bright future and could easily justify investing in the future. He was able to prove that it was a solid long-term acquisition of West Ham. They need more quality and technical capabilities in the middle of the park.
Jacob Ramsey improves West Ham
Ramsey can act as a central midfielder or attacking midfielder. He has technical attributes that also work on the sides. His versatility would be a big bonus if West Ham could sign him. They lost Mohamed Kudus earlier this summer and Lucas Paketa has also come out of the club. West Ham requires more creativity and Ramsey could be the ideal acquisition for them.
The player shows his quality with Aston Villa in cameos, and it’s no doubt enough for him to depart for West Ham regularly. Regular football at the London Club can bring out the best of him and help him realize his potential.
It will be interesting to see if the London Club is willing to proceed with the amount needed to complete the transaction. After the disappointing campaign, they will have to bounce back hard to improve their team, and Ramsey will be a solid addition.
