  • Liverpool is considering replacing Darwin Nunes
  • Saudi Arabian clubs lead the race to sign Nunes

Liverpool made some major moves this summer under the leadership of manager Arne Slot.

Players like Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong, Hugo Ekitike and Milos Kerkez have arrived, but people like Trent Alexander-Arnold, Jarell Quansah, Caoimhin Kelleher and Luis Diaz all left the club for new career adventures.

Liverpool’s summer transfer business is not about Premier League champions linking to the moves of Newcastle United attacker Alexander Isaac.

There are still some well-known names that are expected to leave the club this month, with striker Darwin Nunes being one of them.

Liverpool is considering replacing Darwin Nunes

Failing to impress the slot last season, the Dutch manager decided to replace the Uruguayan international attacker with this transfer window.

According to TBR Football, the Reds star has agreed to the deal as a rule to leave the Premier League Giants this summer.

Journalist Graeme Bailey confirmed that the Merseyside club had discussed with the Saudian professional league for Nunes’ transfer.

He said:

“There’s a lot going on in Liverpool, sales are part of the summer and part of the main revenue. Diaz is over, but Nunes has always been considered a big sale.

“Liverpool respects Nunes a lot. They think he’s the best talent, but that’s not going well for him and he’s embraced it.

“Nunes knows he’s very unlikely to make a move in Europe, and that’s what we’ve seen him agree with future moves towards Saudi Arabia.”

Saudi clubs Al-Hilal and Al-Ahli are interested in the moves of Liverpool attackers, and they are fighting for his signature.

The attackers showed a flash of glow in their days at Anfield, but were unable to find the consistency they would expect from a striker leading the club’s line as big as Liverpool. That’s why they’re chasing Isaac, who has been a more consistent performer this summer over the past few seasons.

Nunez is labelled as an “incredible” player by Pundit Ally McCoist.
