The top 20 starters for the 3-lap Formula One race at the 2025 Classic TT have been announced, with Michael Dunlop listed but yet to confirm his bike. The race, held in August on the 37.75-mile Isle of Man mountain course, runs alongside the Classic TT and Manx Grand Prix at the month’s end.
The entry list across all classes is impressive, especially in the classic superbike Formula One category. Leading the pack is Manx rider Nathan Harrison, competing on a Kawasaki ZXR750 for the Green All Race team. He is closely followed by Dominique Herbertson, also on a ZXR750 for the BHR race, and Mike Brown, last year’s Classic Superbike race winner at the Manx Grand Prix, who continues with his Italian bike, the Ducati 916.
Jamie Coward will start fourth on a Kawasaki ZXR750, with Craig Neve in fifth on another ZXR750 sponsored by CALLMAC scaffolding. Michael Dunlop, who won the 33 Isle of Man TT, is slated for sixth place but has yet to confirm his bike choice. Last year, Dunlop raced a Ducati 916 at the Manx Grand Prix, but struggled with mechanical issues and missed the shortened one-lap classic superbike race won by Brown.
Seventh place goes to David Johnson on a Kawasaki ZXR750, with eighth reserved for three-time TT winner Davey Todd. Rob Hodson (Ducati 916) and Paul Jordan (Kawasaki ZXR750) complete the top 10. Following them are Brian McCormack (ZXR750) in 11th, Ian Hutchinson on another Kawasaki, and Michael Sweeney and Julian Trammer also on ZXR750s.
Sean Anderson holds 15th place on a Norton, the only top 20 entry on that brand, while 16th through 20th are occupied by Suzuki GSXR750 riders Barry Farber, Joey Gersley, Michael Evans, and ZXR750’s Amallic Blanc.
Fan Take: This lineup highlights the fierce competition and diverse talent in classic superbike racing, thrilling fans with a blend of nostalgia and high-octane action. Watching icons like Michael Dunlop and new contenders battle it out promises to keep the spirit and passion of the sport alive for years to come.
