Glenn Irwin Impresses with Smooth Moves — BSB Team’s Reaction and Live Updates!

PBM Ducati and Glenn Irwin have unexpectedly parted ways as of Tuesday. The split stems from a disagreement over Irwin’s readiness to compete after his serious crash and recovery at Snetterton in June. The team decided it was best for Irwin to delay his return until at least round 7 at Cadwell Park to prioritize his health and manage competitive expectations. Although Irwin had recovered sufficiently to ride, the team was concerned that further falls during this vulnerable period could worsen his injuries. Due to these differing views, both parties mutually agreed to end their contract, allowing Irwin to seek new opportunities as he aims to get back to racing soon. Since joining PBM in 2016, Irwin has enjoyed a remarkable career with 19 wins and 23 podiums, narrowly missing out on the 2023 championship by just half a point. Everyone at Hager PBM Ducati wishes him well in his recovery and future endeavors.

Fan Take: This split is a significant shake-up in the BSB paddock, as Glenn Irwin has been a standout competitor for years. His departure from PBM Ducati could open up fresh dynamics within the championship and adds an element of uncertainty that racing fans will be eager to follow.
