Liverpool has bid to sign Arne Slot’s “Monster” defender, but the FSG offer hasn’t worked out well at the sales club.

The Reds are preparing to defend their Premier League title in their opening Friday night match against Bournemouth on August 15th.

Previously, Liverpool won FA Cup winner Crystal Palace at Community Shield Wembley, with supporters able to see many new faces acting before the new campaign.

As you can see, FSG has backed slots in the transfer market this summer by spending more cash than the other Premier League sides.

However, new centre-backs are not yet secured, so more arrivals could be made before the September 1 deadline. Speaking recently, Slot confirmed that Liverpool has not replaced Jarrell Kuanza, who joined Bayer Lebakusen, but that Ryan Gravenburch and Wataru End share how they fill out if necessary.

“From a depth perspective, I think Ryan (Greigun Burch) showed him today that he can play in that position, and he did that last season as well.

“The cotton (end) can play there. Joe Gomez is only minor injuries. He’s good for us last season too. There’s plenty of options left.

Many defenders are tied to moves towards Anfield, including Palace star Mark Guegi and Palma teenager Giovanni Leoni.

Guehi is two more proven additions, and a new update has been introduced regarding the possibility of a Merseyside migration.

Liverpool submits two offers from Mark Guech

According to X’s journalist Santi Aouna, Liverpool has made two offers from the Eagles to sign Guehi, but both proposals have been turned down.

The Reds are now “exploring other defensive targets,” and in his foot Mercato report, Ouna added that the palace wanted Gehi to have 55 million euros (£48 million) and was left humiliated by Liverpool’s offer.

It remains to be seen how many tables Liverpool has been placed at Guehi’s table, but it appears that defensive “monsters” will line up with them on August 10th at Wembley.

The 25-year-old has less than 12 months left on his Selhurst Park contract, so he can keep an eye on his future, and it’s not a complete shock if FSG returns with his third bid over the next few weeks.
