Tottenham was able to try and sign Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho this summer.

According to TBR Football, the 21-year-old attacker is determined to leave Manchester United and he is also on the radar of Chelsea and Aston Villa.

Alejandro Garnacho is a player in demand

Graeme Bailey told TBR Football:

“The move to Stamford Bridge (it stands out against him). Spurs and Villa are like him, but Chelsea have done a lot of work in the past.”

It will be interesting to see which of the three clubs has made the deal. South America needs to join the clubs he plays regularly. He struggled with regular game time at Manchester United last season, trying to get his career back on track. There were rumours that Garnacho would prefer to move towards Chelsea.

The spurs will need to add more offensive depth, and South America could prove to be a long-term acquisition. He has demonstrated his abilities with Manchester United and Tottenham regular football was able to bring out the best of him. He has all the tools to develop into a top-class player.

Garnacho is highly regarded throughout Europe, with multiple clubs linked to him. He is definitely a promising player with a big future. Manchester United could end up regretting his decision to leave.

Meanwhile, Tottenham is aiming to compete for the major trophies next season, based on the campaign they won in the Europa League last time. They need high quality players freely. It’s important to have a dynamic attacker like Garnacho that can be manipulated in multiple offensive roles.

His son Hyun Min has left, and there is a high chance that Richarrison will be sold. The spur desperately needs side reinforcement. The Manchester United players were well aware of and he could quickly make an impact.

Meanwhile, Aston Villa is overly dependent on Morgan Rogers and Ollie Watkins for the attack. They need more quality in the last third, and the 21-year-old could be an ideal acquisition.
