Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior has linked his move away from the club during the summer transfer.
The Polish defender was also closely linked to the exit last summer. But he was ultimately staying and was a very important player for Arsenal.
There is no doubt that 25-year-olds are important players. TBR Football reports claim that Arsenal could offer him a new contract as a reward for his performance. They are ready to offer him a wage increase as well. However, defenders want to play regularly. It remains to be seen whether all parties will be able to secure an agreement.
Arsenal wants a new deal for Kiwiall
Bailey told TBR Football: “I think he still has three years of deals left, but the club is aware of the shift he put in last season. They know he is the best Premier League defender. They want to give him a wage rise.
Jakub Kiwior has many suitors
He has never been interested in Poland’s international defender, with multiple Italian clubs protecting him the tab. Arsenal must provide him with a guarantee of game time if he wants to keep him in the club. The 25-year-old doesn’t want to regularly sit on the Arsenal bench.
They need more quality and depth to consistently win major trophies, and having a player like Kiwiol in the club can prove a wise decision.
Aside from his quality as a footballer, he is versatile enough to slot into multiple defensive roles. It makes him an invaluable asset to the club. Arsenal must do everything in their power to persuade him to stay with the club.
