  • West Ham is targeting their new Bowen
  • Why Doak could become the new Bowen

Although they haven’t exactly planned West Ham United’s plans for the final few seasons, their team still has a lot of talent.

But it would be fair to say that he knows who the most important player of Hammer is: Jarrod Bowen.

England International is undoubtedly one of the most underrated players in the entire Premier League, with a sensational tally involved in 125 goals in 238 games.

So, while this window wasn’t the most exciting, fans should be excited by the report linking the iron to a promising talent that could become Graham Potter’s new Bowen.

West Ham is targeting their new Bowen

So far, it has been an interesting summer window for West Ham. Calm Wilson’s signature is a bit overwhelming and with Raheem Sterling ties, the club has made some smart additions.

For example, the free-willed Kyle Walkerpeter definitely strengthens Potter’s defensive units, but the combative Eldozimalic Diuff has many advantages.

Furthermore, the East Londoners don’t seem to be finished yet. Because now they are honing for young attackers who could become the next Bowen.

At least that’s what we’re claiming is one of several aspects that is interested in Ben Doak, according to a recent report from journalist David Lynch.

Lynch revealed that Wolverhampton’s Wanderer is also keen to sign the Liverpool youth, and that a £20 million offer was rejected from the town of Crystal Palace in Winter Window and Ipswich.

According to Chris Bascombe of The Telegraph, Reds appears to reject such an offer this summer, just as they cherish their 19-year-old for £30 million.

It could be a complicated and somewhat expensive transfer, but Dork might be worth it, especially as he can become Potter’s new Bowen.

Why Doak could become the new Bowen

So the first thing to say is that Doak doesn’t claim he’s as good as Bowen at this point, or that he’s even likely to approach the next or two seasons.

The Irons star is currently one of the best attackers in the league and is likely to have been so for a while, so it’s ridiculous and just too much pressure to put on teenagers.

However, some of the undeniable aspects of this potential deal suggest that Liverpool’s gem could develop into someone who could take over from the British at some point in the future.

The first is the fact that the iron signs a Darry-born gem after an impressive championship spell.

For example, when the Reds loaned out Scottish gems to Middlesbrough last season and hadn’t had a hamstring injury, he saw all the pieces to future stars.

The “explosive” ace dubbed by Danny Murphy, scored three goals and provided seven assists in 24 appearances totaling 1,789.

In other words, he was able to average goal involvement every 2.4 games or every 178.9 minutes.

In addition to his abilities in the second tier, the 5-foot-9 dynamo is also a primarily right winger, but shows his ability to play the left or top from time to time.

Finally, as with his production, the promising youngster posted some seriously impressive numbers at last season’s championship.

According to FBREF, he was in the top 14 competitions for carry to the penalty area, top 2% of progressive carry and top 5% of non-penalty expected goals per shot, and top 1% of attacking midfielders and wingers.

These numbers draw a picture of a player who can put the ball into dangerous territory and then make the most of the moment – do you sound like a familiar person?

Ultimately, fans shouldn’t expect Doak to become a regular starter next season, but there’s no reason why the young Scots couldn’t do the same with West Ham, just as Bowen became a superstar over time.
