It was the second day of the 2025 FedEx St. Jude Championships held at TPC Southwind in Memphis. The regular season of the 36 event will be in the rearview mirror, with 18 holes already in the book this week in the first phase of the FedEx Cup playoffs.

The PAR-70, 7,288 yard course hosts the top 70 golfers in the FedEx Cup rankings. This includes tournament defending champion Matsuyama Hideki. He shot a 1-under 69 on Thursday and is a T-27. Daniel Berger did that in 2016-17 so no one has been repeated in TPC Southwind.

Defending FedEx Cup champion Scotty Schaeffler had one bogey so he came to the final hole, so he shot a 3-under 67 and five shots from the lead.
