Tottenham hopes to have a number of signatures before the summer transfer period closes, but there will also be an exit. And one of the players destined to leave by the beginning of September is Brian Gill.

Gill spent last season on loan at Girona, and although he was impressed by the Laliga side, they decided not to sign him permanently. That means he has returned to North London, where he continues to have a future despite his son Hyun Min leaving for LAFC.

Tottenham hopes that Gill will leave before the deadline, and the 24-year-old can now continue his career in Italy.

As reported by Corriere Dello Sport (via Spurs Web), Bologna was offered the opportunity to sign Gill. Serie a Side must sign Dan Nudoe, who signed New Nottingham Forest, and the Spaniards may be their man.

Gill has been reported to be out of contract less than 12 months, so this summer could be the last time Tottenham has to win cash. Bologna has the money to spend after selling Ndoye.

For now, it remains to be seen whether Bologna will approach Tottenham over a contract with Gill. But if that were the case, the negotiations are expected to be fruitful given the strong desire for Winger to leave this summer.
