John Cena is one of the most famous names in the world, whether for his wrestling or acting.
WWE icon Cena is scheduled to retire from the sports entertainment business at the end of 2025. It’s been more than 23 years since he won his SmackDown debut. Americans have 17 independent WWE Championship rulers more than any other wrestler in business history.

Due to his position, he is regularly asked questions that do not focus on wrestling at the heart of numerous interviews that have left the ring throughout his career.
Previously, when speaking to the BBC, Cena was quized in everything in football, from his favorite players and Premier League teams to what role he might have if he were involved in the sport.
When asked who his favourite player was, Cina chose Cristiano Ronaldo over Lionel Messi. The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star are strong alongside Al Nasr in Saudi Arabia and have shown no signs of speeding up in front of goal.
“If you have to name a famous footballer, you’ll start with Cristiano Ronaldo and finish. That’s it.”
Winner of the Five Barondoor Awards, Ronaldo holds the record for his most international appearances and international goals with Portugal.
John Cena nominates his favourite Premier League team
When asked who his favorite team was in the UK, Cena’s name checked Tottenham Hotspur. He quoted his visit to White Hart Lane in 2008 during a UK tour with WWE.
“Tottenham was playing on the same night that we held the WWE event in London, but I was able to go and see the stadium and actually walk the pitch.
“It was in the heart of the city, so I really loved it, reminding me of an old baseball stadium with nostalgia and tradition.
“I was able to hear that the Spurs are a team of workingmen. I was able to meet the coaches. It was beautiful to see the bright green pitches in all the concrete in town.”
Spurs’ favorite team of Cena and his best player, Ronaldo, was asked where he would play if he was a football player. Instead of giving him a position, the wrestling star fantasized himself on the bystanders.
“If I’m playing myself, I’ll be on the bench because I saw some games and it’s a lot of running – I’m not running very well. I can go to the goal. The goalkeeper is very big, the goalkeeper is very small, the goalkeeper is very small, it’s difficult to block a shot.
