  • Why Liverpool wants to sign Alexander Isaac

This is the new normal for Liverpool, and it’s hard to imagine all of this incredible summer spending.

While the 2024/25 campaign was in full swing, Arne Slot was always expected to be a relocation market for statements from the Reds. This was ready to seal a series of exciting signatures after Liverpool, who won the Premier League with such a surge, made minimal first-team investments in four consecutive windows.

But Liverpool needs more investment, even if they welcome some of Europe’s most talented and capable players in their slot teams.

Certainly, it is clear that FSG’s hopes welcome another dynamic front as Darwin Nunes has completed a £46 million transfer to Al Giral in the Saudi Arabian Pro League and Luis Diaz has already twisted his ankle for Bayern Munich.

Liverpool is interested in new forwards

Cody Gakupo remains the only senior option on the left flank as Diaz joined Bayern at £65.5 million. Fans are being treated with an exciting outlook that is rio nguomha, but the youngster is only 16 years old and needs to ease their slot plans.

Real Madrid’s Rodrigo is being touted as a potential option, but athletic James Pierce tried to dispel such claims at the end of July, saying that Brazilians are “not currently considered as Diaz’s alternative.”

However, there has been a long-standing interest in Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola, 22, valued at 100 million euros (about £87 million), a similar alternative to the left flank, with plenty of room for growth.

Barcola is a talented player, but he is not a completed article. If Liverpool is selected one more first this summer, it’s clear that sports director Richard Hughes is eager to be.

Liverpool is looking for priority targets

According to Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, Liverpool has focused on signing Newcastle United centre-forward forward Alexander Isaac this summer, with an offer of £110 million rejected in early August.

Plettenberg understands that rumors related to Barcola are merely smokescreens as Merseysiders move forward with ISAK’s UK record bid. Newcastle appears to be resigning more and more from selling their amulets, but wants to go above £130 million.

Isak just wants to leave St. James Park for Liverpool, but everything depends on the magpie.

Why Liverpool wants to sign Alexander Isaac

If Liverpool did not pursue ISAK this summer, it would be unlikely that Hughes would oversee the fallback to another number of nine. That’s how highly acclaimed the Swedish star is at Anfield. It’s him, or it’s nothing.

Well, nothing. If Liverpool failed their bid, Hughes had his attention on Barcola and Rodrigo, among others. Because slots require another forward-looking to complete the attack set and attack the campaign in many ways.

At Isaac, he scored 27 goals and scored six assists in 43 games last season, heading for the Carabao Cup title. He played against Liverpool at Wembley in Liverpool, earning “the best all-round centre in the league.”

Liverpool shut out a stunning signature when adding Hugo Ekitique to the slot team with the first £609 million package, but the French are not at the peak of his strength yet, but Isaac is. The Scandinavian scorer will prove the perfect signature for Liverpool, even if the PSG talent was already considered by analyst Ben Matinson as “one of Europe’s best leftists.”

Barcola may have scored 21 goals and 21 assists in all competitions last season, and may have scored a square in the PSG project, but he also left what he earned 28% of his honor in League 1, according to his sofa score.

Meanwhile, Isak has proven to be one of the deadliest players in the Premier League, and you’ll be sure Liverpool will receive a Bang for their spending when defeating Shedload.

Data via the transfer market

Gakupo is already sitting on the left, but Isaac has previously unfolded heavily, which is highlighted. Newcastle goalkeeper Nick Pope has even described him as a “wizard” in the past after driving with an incredible assist with Everton, a side-to-face.

Ekitike is also a quick mobility guy, and there’s no reason why each striker couldn’t run confluence under the wings of the slot this season.

Of course, Barcola makes a great addition, but he is not Isaac. If Hughes only has one route he can go down, then Isaac is his priority and in fact it is the right trajectory to bow his head.

After all, the Newcastle star has highlighted all his iconic quality, with the top 16% of European top five league strikers over the past year, the top 5 leagues of shot-making action, the top 13% of progressive passes, the top 7% of progressive carry and the top 8% of take-ons per 90 per FBREF highlighting all his iconic quality.

The action of creating a shot is a game that leads to a shot. These include moments like passing, take-on, fouls and more.

It is still unclear whether Liverpool has managed to get the deal done. Telegraph’s Luke Edwards believes that ISAK, which is £120k per week, is said to be from PIF that he won’t go anywhere, but it’s hard to see credibility of such claims.

Either way, players want Liverpool and if Hughes and Slot sign another one this summer, ISAK is one.
