Manchester United entered the summer transfer window at the intersection, the latest intersection at a long, entangled critical point over a period of past mistakes in past misturns.

But even more importantly, neither of them have yet to prove themselves in one of the elite European outfits. Now is their chance.
Turning the ship around after finishing 15th in the Premier League last season and losing the Europa League final to Tottenham Hotspur, will always be a big question, but at this particular intersection, the right turn was probably taken.
A central striker is also needed, and Benjamin Sesco is making a more worrying addition. However, there is no denying that the 22-year-old is one of the most promising young goal scorers of his generation.
Why did the man sign Benjamin Sesco?
Two years ago, Man United paid Atalanta £72 million in exchange for up-and-coming centre-forward Forflund. The Danish footballer has since collapsed to the roadside and is actively pushed into the exit before the transfer deadline.
The Sesko has arrived as a replacement for Hojlund. He left RB Leipzig to join the team at the Theatre of Dreams, signing an equally expensive £74 million fee.
The Slovenian only scored 13 goals from 33 Bundesliga matches in the previous period, but his power, pace and potential all could have been United hit the jackpot, and talent scout Jace Krig even declares that United have signed “the new Haaland” because of Sesco’s horrifying physicality and playing style.
And the partner demonstrated by such a confident Premier League of Cunha and Mbeumo is adjacent to him, so Sesko may be the long-needed jackpot signature.
But the devil is not finished yet. In fact, Amorim wants to sign one or two more players before the end of the transfer window, targeting the Premier League star, who has been selected as the best player of Thomas Thauchelle’s three-man Lions team.

According to the football relocation, Manchester United is taking an official approach to Crystal Palace for Captain Mark Guech, who is entering the final year of his contract at Selhurst Park.

Given Guehi stands within the core components deep inside the English game and his skill set, Man United will mark a better signature than Sesko by hitting gold with this signature seal.
The landing of Hojlund’s upgrades is considered important for United this summer, but it is also working on leaky defenses that have shipped the ninth-highest number of XG (expected targets) in the league (55.1) via Fotmob.
That’s not enough for the Man United team, but you’d probably expect it given they finished 15th.
However, Guehi is a “monster of defense” and, as stated by Palace reporter Bobby Manzi, won 63% of the ground duel via a sofa score in last year’s Premier League.
Additionally, defenders rank in the top 5% of European top 5 league position peers for the past year, top 5% for shot-making action, and top 2% of the ball per 90 according to FBREF, so they have ball-play expertise to advance Amorim’s transition system, earning promising players and maintaining managers’ expectations.
Having established itself as a flagship player for the English international team over the past year, it stands out in Gareth Southgate’s final harray at Euro 2024, and it is certainly a worthy bid. Ultimately, Man United needed a new striker and they signed. But they have to reshape across the park, and Guehi offers an instant dramatic lift to the backline that licked last season’s deceived ce, but the ju umpire has done so much for Sesko, but still passes his first test in British football.
