Arsenal is currently approaching the capture of Ebebeki Eze from Crystal Palace.

The 27-year-old has been linked to a move away from Selhurst Park over the past few weeks, and Arsenal appears to be very close to the final decision to transfer. According to Fichajes, an offer of around £55 million has been accepted by the Eagles, but the transaction will only be confirmed once proper exchanges are secured.

The report further claims that Arsenal moved to secure his signature after an explicit request from Mikel Arteta.

Spurs are also about to sign Eze.

Arsenal is on track in the transfer market

Arsenal has been very active in the market this summer, already signing six quality players. ViktorGyoker, Martin Zubimendi, Noni Maduke, Christian Norgaard, Kepa Arrizabalaga, and Cristhian Mosquera.

They seem to be trying to add more quality to the side as they are trying to win the Premier League title and the UEFA Champions League.

Eze has proven to be a reliable performer in the Premier League and has managed to improve Arsenal. He adds creativity, goals and unpredictability to the side. The player registered 25 goal contributions last season, but his numbers could improve when playing on a more offensive team, along with better players.

Eze helped Crystal Palace win the FA Cup and Community Shield. This is the right time for him to move on, join the club and be able to push key trophies. Arsenal can provide him with the platform he needs.

It remains to be seen whether all parties will be able to quickly close the relocation.

Arsenal has been closer to winning major trophies in recent years, but they have not been able to get past the line. They will certainly fantasize about the chance to go this time.
