  • Latest on Hunt for Arsenal’s new additions this summer
  • Why Arsenal’s latest targets are just as exciting as Gyoker

After finishing second in the Premier League for three years, Arsenal fans will definitely get bored of not being able to end the drought without a league title.

The gunners have spent more than 20 years without a Premier League victory. If Mikel Arteta falls to the final hurdle again, patience could be diminished among the fanbase.

The hierarchy has already supported the manager in his quest to reach the next level of the Emirates, spending more than £200 million on new additions, and has since improved various areas of the pitch.

Christian Norgaard and Martin Zubimendi have already been added to the midfield division, adding important depths after various departures earlier this summer.

However, despite the vast amount of funding already on various new additions, countless other options are still being considered by the club to promote their ambition to finish the top of the mountain.

Latest on Hunt for Arsenal’s new additions this summer

Despite the addition of Noni Madueke this summer, Arsenal is targeting the addition of Real Madrid star Rodrigo to strengthen its offensive division.

But the contract with the Brazilian will see them face competition from many different aspects due to his signature, including Manchester City and North London rival Tottenham.

According to the Spanish outlet, he is not currently a viewer from the edge of the window to the end of the window.

They claim that an agreement is coming close between Gunners and the Eagles about a “smash hit” £55 million deal to move to the 27-year-old Emirates ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.

Oliver Glasner’s side also said he has resigned to losing England International this summer, but will have to hold off the deal until his side lands instead.

Why Arsenal’s latest targets are just as exciting as Gyoker

Viktor Gyokeres is undoubtedly Arsenal’s most attention during the current window.

Swedish International has the ability to transform the club’s form in the final third if he scored 97 goals in his 102 appearances and can replicate such a level in the UK.

However, he has a huge price tag to live after the hierarchy branched out £63.5 million including add-ons to secure 27-year-old services this summer.

After the forward netted the club’s first goal in a recent preseason victory against Lariga Side Athletic Club, the fanbase is already on Gyoker’s hype train.

But despite recent excitement about the move, the club was able to land a star that is as impressive as Eze’s contract in the coming weeks.

The 27-year-old offers a versatile all-round option in the final third, and has a wide or 10th place position, let alone his experience on top flights in the UK.

His statistics from the latest campaign highlight the abilities he has in the last third, and he also has tools that can be created for others and thrive individually.

Labeled “sensational” by Rory Jennings of Talksport, Eze completed 2.4 take-ons per 90 and carried 1.7 to the final third.

He also registered a combination of 16 goals on England’s top flight last season, assisting in support and providing his Mazzy with a final product, and the tools to run into the opposition penalty area.

Such a tally highlights his ability to provide to others while being able to find the net itself. This is hardly a surprise given his tally of 3.5 shots per 90.

If he can replicate the levels he recently produced at Selhurst Park, it would be a great addition to further improving the options at his manager’s disposal.

The prospect of Eze linking with Gyoker in the attacking area is exciting to see the club hit a new level of success in the near future.
