Dillian Whyte Supports a Possible Showdown Between Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul

Dillian Whyte has voiced support for a potential match between former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua and YouTube star-turned-boxer Jake Paul. The 37-year-old, who is preparing for a rematch against Moses in Saudi Arabia this Saturday, shared his thoughts on the prospect of Joshua facing Paul.

“It’s all about business,” Whyte told the BBC. “Joshua has been champion twice, fought many battles, so who knows? I’m sure he’ll earn more from this than some of his title fights. If the money’s there, he’ll take it.”

Joshua’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, recently confirmed discussions are underway regarding a possible fight with Paul. “At first, I thought Jake’s challenge was just a publicity stunt, but after talking with them, I see Jake really believes he can beat Joshua,” Hearn told the BBC.

Meanwhile, Whyte himself expressed a desire to get a rematch against Joshua to avenge his seventh knockout loss from their 2015 British heavyweight title bout. “I want a chance to make things right,” Whyte stated.

Fan Take: This potential showdown between Joshua and Jake Paul highlights the evolving landscape of boxing, where entertainment and skill collide. For fight fans, it promises a fresh dynamic that could attract a wider audience and spark new interest in the heavyweight division.
