Alejandro Garnacho has officially called for Manchester United to leave with his sights on a move to Chelsea. Catch off side I understand.

Garnacho is fully committed to joining Chelsea, rejecting offers from other clubs and agreeing to personal terms with the Blues, multiple sources have confirmed.

The latest information also shows that Garnacho’s stance appears to be putting pressure on Man Utd to lower the Argentina international asking price, which Red Devils initially valued at £70 million.

Since then, concerns about financial fair play, players’ pressure and the need for club sales have forced them to cut their demands down to £40 million.

For now, Chelsea’s current offer is considered “£30 million and a bonus,” according to well-placed sources. Several figures in the industry have also confirmed that names like Nicholas Jackson, Christopher Nukank, Axel Disassi and Renato Veiga are being debated as potential swap trading options, but this hasn’t gone anywhere anymore.

Naples, Borussia Dortmund, Tottenham and Aston Villa have also shown interest in Garnacho at various points this summer, but players’ priorities are clear. He stays in the Premier League and plays Champions League soccer.

“It puts Chelsea firmly in the pole position,” one source said. Catch off side.

Chelsea is calmly handling the situation. With Garnacho’s clear preferences, personal agreements and other offers rejected, the likelihood of completing the transaction is increasing day by day. Within Manchester United, it is widely accepted that Garnacho will not wear a shirt again.

There’s a few more negotiations needed, but the saga is just one direction and it feels like it can be resolved quickly.
