The wolves are rebuilding this summer after Matheus Cunha and Rayan Ait-Nouri were sold to Man United and Man City, respectively, but it is now continuing the imminent arrival of a new right-back.

Like Cunha and Ait-Nouri’s successor, the wolves were in the market for successors to Nelson Semedo, who left Molineux when the contract expired in early July. And they now landed it in the form of Jackson Chachoua. Jackson Hatoaua will arrive from Serie a Side Helas Verona in a deal worth £10 million.

But in the end, the situation at Tchatchoua could have been very different. According to Everton.News, Transfer Reporter’s Graeme Bailey revealed that Everton tried to sign him before an agreement with the wolf.

“Yeah, they’re trying. They know they saw Jackson Chachoua, but I don’t know if it went too far.

Everton is eager to the right back himself, following Ashley Young’s exit earlier this summer. But Tchatchoua doesn’t seem to be their man. This is a hit for David Moyes and the Merseyside Club’s sports division.

It will be interesting to see how Tchatchoua will undertake during his first season in the Premier League. The wolves liked him to Milan Van Ewick of Coventry. Pressure will be placed on the shoulders of Cameroon International, who registered two goals and three assists with 36 Serie A appearances during the 2024-25 campaign.
