Arsenal attacker Leandro Trossard has linked his move away from the club during the summer transfer period.
He was not a key player at Arsenal last season and struggled with regular game time. It’s unlikely for him to improve this season either.
Torosad needs to go ahead
Arsenal signed Viktor Gyoker and Noni Maduke during the summer transfer period. Trossard could potentially go further down the order of the pecking order.
Ideally he should move on and join the club and get regular opportunities. According to GMS’ Fabrizio Romano, Aston Villa was monitoring his situation and they could see him make a move for him.
He said: “There’s a movement so there’s no immediate effect yet except to keep an eye on the last few weeks.”
It remains to be seen whether the Belgian attacker will be able to sign before the window closes. He is versatile enough to operate anywhere across the Front 3, and could prove to be a great acquisition.
Arsenal Leandro Toro Sard is ready to sell
The report further claims that Arsenal is being prepared to move on for his correct offer. The 30-year-old has the quality and experience to improve Aston Villa. It remains to be seen whether they will move forward with an offer to sign him.
Aston Villa recently allowed Jacob Ramsey to leave the club, and they need more creativity on the side. Belgium International is the ideal acquisition. He was able to form a solid partnership with Morgan Rogers and Ollie Watkins on the offense. Aston Villas need more quality and European qualifications if they want to do well.
Leon Bailey is also expected to leave the club, and Torosad will be the ideal alternative.
