  • Moving in the Premier League is a possibility for left-backs

According to transfer news expert Fabrizio Romano, Costas’s Tsimicus is scheduled to leave Liverpool this summer, and his departure is expected to accelerate in the coming days.

Greek International is ready to move on as manager Arne Slot rebuilds his team and defines plans for the left-back role.

Liverpool is currently open to hearing the 29-year-old defender’s proposals, including the possibility of first loan transfers. The club would ideally prefer permanent transfers, but willingness to consider a loan shows clear openness to encourage his exit and give players more opportunities elsewhere.

With the nickname “Greek Scozer” by Anfield fans, Tsimikas was an important player for the Reds. He has long been the backup to first-choice left-back Andy Robertson.

He is looking to leave to get more playing time from the Premier League champions as the Reds signed Milos Kerquez this summer, moving down the pecking order at Anfield down.

At 29, he is more enthusiastic about first-team football on a more regular basis and believes that this is the right time to look for new challenges.

The European club is closely monitoring his situation and interest has already been formed to show that Liverpool is ready for negotiations. His versatility, experience at the highest level, and offensive contributions from the full-back make him an attractive option for those who need defensive reinforcement.
