The second TGL season will be teeing on December 28th in a rematch of last year’s Championship Series between Atlanta Drive GC and New York GC at Sophie Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

The opening match will air by ABC at 3pm. The high-tech infusion golf league led by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy said the full schedule will be released this fall.

In the first season, Atlanta won their first two matches in three best series to win the Sophie Cup. In the clinching match, Atlanta spins from a 3-0 deficit after 11 holes and won 4-3 to win the title.

“The TGL that Sophie’s first season presented exceeded all expectations, and Season 2 begins with TGL’s first match at ABC. This is the rematch of last season’s final between Atlanta and New York, and he said he is the founder and CEO of TMRW Sports and TGL. “This offseason has focused on improving the fan experience and is keen to bring fans and teams back to the Sophie Center in December.”

Patrick Cantray, Justin Thomas, Billy Horschel and Lucas Glover chose Atlanta.

New York was led by two-time major champions Xander Schauffele, Matt Fitzpatrick, Rickie Fowler and Cameron Young. The second season includes six original teams: Boston Common Golf, Jupiter Link GC, Los Angeles Golf Club, Bay Golf Club, and others.

In May, the league announced that Detroit’s leading Motor City Golf Club will become its first expansion franchise in 2027. The league is also exploring opportunities for expansion in Chicago, Dallas and other cities.
