Chelsea striker Nicholas Jackson is reportedly expected to not be involved with the Blues in his next game against West Ham United on Friday evening.
The deal doesn’t seem particularly close, but Jackson has been attracting a lot of attention from Aston Villa.
That’s according to a report from The Telegraph, which states that Emery is a Jackson fan and is looking for a new sign-up.
However, there may be issues as to how villas can afford this deal, so it is still unclear whether it will be realistic for them when things are standing.
Nicholas Jackson was lending, but Chelsea wants to sell forever
Jackson didn’t live up to expectations at Stamford Bridge, but it’s easy to see how it probably evolves into someone who would become a decent option for a club like Villa.
According to The Telegraph, Senegal International is also attracting interest from Newcastle, and the villa may need to be sold before purchasing.
Alternatively, it has been suggested that AVFC could try to sign a loan with Jackson, but a Telegraph report reveals that Chelsea prefers permanent sales.
Jackson replacing Ollie Watkins?
There have been some question marks about the recent Villa Future at Ollie Watkins. So it could potentially replace England International.
As we are approaching the end of the transfer window, it will certainly be interesting to note how this situation develops in the next few days.
Chelsea are keen to offload Jackson after signing Joan Pedro and Liam Dellup, so perhaps the club is lowering their demands and lending the bank to the bank as the deadline approaches.
