Tottenham is looking elsewhere to add offensive quality to Thomas Frank’s team after missing out on Morgan Gibbs White and Ebeki Eze. James Madison’s absence requires more signatures and the club bosses are considering many options.

Man City’s Savinho is a major candidate and the players themselves are open to join, but they have yet to reach a club-to-club contract. And with a £70 million asking price set, Tottenham was able to consider other candidates. One of them is reportedly Magnes Acryucet of Monaco.

According to a soccer insider, Pete O’Rourke has confirmed that Tottenham maintains the tabs on Akliouche.

“What appears to be eye-catching is Monaco star Magnes Acriucé, who is a very talented young player and could potentially be used for around £47.5 million.

“He’s a top young player at 23 and perhaps one of the most exciting young talents in Rig 1. He can play as a winger or as No. 10. If Tottenham can’t revive the deal with Sabigno, Akliouche will be a decent alternative.

Akliouche made the 2024-25 season impressive as he registered seven goals and 12 assists in 43 appearances in all of Monaco’s competitions. At the age of 23, he was still a few years away from his prime, and £47.5 million could be a great price to take him with him.

For now, we’re focusing on Savinho, but if it’s decided that we can’t trade Brazilian International, then Tottenham Pivot has every chance at Akliouche.
