  • Thomas Frank wants Sabigno at Tottenham
  • Man City has no desire to leave a Brazilian winger

Tottenham Hotspur’s pursuit of Brazilian winger Sabigno escalated after further talks over the weekend, but they continue to face stubborn resistance from Manchester City, reluctant to sanction the sale.

According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Spurs is ready to beat the bank for the 21-year-old, with the proposal exceeding 70 million euros, but the city is sticking to a valuation of over 80 million euros and, more importantly, a broader attitude that allows him to let go, prove his costly and long-term mistake.

Savinho emerged as an exciting winger and was impressed by his offensive and creative quality despite not scoring many goals.

Thomas Frank wants Sabigno at Tottenham

He likes to bring players and create opportunities for his teammates. This is what manager Thomas Frank is watching in this transfer window.

In particular, after the departure of his son Hyun Min and the injury suffered by James Madison, the Spurs strengthened their pursuit of signing a winger in Man City.

Frank’s team has recently faced another set-off in the market. Ebeletti Eze appeared to be joining Crystal Palace’s Spurs, but the move was hijacked at the final moments by Premier League rival Arsenal.

This increased the need to sign new creative players at the club, and Spurs identified Savinho as the top target.

However, Man City’s position remains consistent throughout the summer. Although every player has a price, club officials believe that Sabigno’s potential ceiling is so high that even record sales could be regretted over the next few years.

Pep Guardiola and the recruitment team see him as a future star who can play a big role.

It put Tottenham in a difficult position. They are willing to approach the city’s assessment, but the sense from the source is that this is not about money, but about the attitudes of the city. Even at 80 million euros, they may decide to block the movement completely.

In the case of Spurs, the clock is ticking with each passing time as the transfer window is framed towards the final stretch. Savinho remains Markey’s target, but unless City eases their stance, Frank may be forced to look elsewhere.
