Chelsea will be extremely busy in the final week of their summer transfer period, with both signing and sales expected. One player scheduled to leave Stamford Bridge is Nicholas Jackson. He is now one step closer to joining his next club.
Earlier this month, Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca confirmed that Jackson was leaving, and Senegal International was replaced by Joan Pedro and Liam Dellup in the summer. Many clubs have registered their interests and recently it appears Aston Villa is a favorite to sign him.
However, this is no longer true, with Jackson currently planning to end his two-year Premier League stay in exchange for a move to Germany.
Nicholas Jackson agrees to personal terms with Bayern Munich
As Christian Faulk reported, Jackson is currently pushing to join Bayern Munich, and now agrees to personal terms with the incumbent Bundesliga champions who have come to approach Chelsea to secure a contract before the summer transfer window closes Europe next Monday.
Bayern hopes to agree to a loan agreement with Chelsea, and given the report that said this is possible (as long as they are obligated to buy in 2026), it is possible that the two clubs will be able to smash this over the next few days.
Jackson is not the only player to leave Chelsea by the deadline next Monday. Christian Nukank and Axel Disassi are also among the departures. By comparison, Stamford Bridge officials hope to agree to the signatures of RB Leipzig and ManUnited Zabi Simons and Alejandro Garnacho respectively, but there could be another surprise addition to Maresca’s team.
