  • Jadon Sancho was not interested in joining as Roma
  • Man United Winger may soon head to Besikutas

Jadon Sancho’s days at Manchester United seem to be coming to an end, with the club actively working on a positive winger exit strategy. Catch off side.

Despite having been on the contract until 2026, manager Reuben Amorim revealed that Sancho is not part of his long-term plan.

For weeks, Rome had emerged as the forefront in Sancho’s chase. Sports director Frederic Massara spoke directly with the player and tried to persuade him to move to Italy. Almost a month ago, Roma and Man United also reached agreements on contracts worth 18 million euros and bonus terms.

However, due to complications on the part of the players, negotiations collapsed. Sancho’s agents demanded fees of more than 10 million euros, but the players themselves showed little enthusiasm for the move.

Rome provided Sancho with a salary of 5 million euros per year, and manager Jean Piero Gaspelini pushed for the signature, which he thought was an important addition to strengthening the attack. However, Sancho was reluctant and preferred clubs to compete in the Champions League.

He has shown flexibility in consultations with Juventus and agreed to the possibility of pay cuts, but a potential switch for the player who scored five goals for Chelsea last season was killed.

Elsewhere, Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich also monitored his situation, but withdrew citing excessive financial demands and agent fees.

Now, Besiktas is emerging as an astonishingly late candidate. The Turkish giant is keen to take advantage of the extended transfer window, which remains open until September 12, long after much of Europe closed its business.

Besikutus has already reached an agreement with United over transfer fees. In other words, this move relies solely on Sancho’s decisions. If the winger gives the green light, the deal will close quickly and give Sancho a fresh start in Istanbul.
